Claire is a leadership coach and consultant who works with senior and high potential individuals across all sectors. As a former corporate lawyer, PLC company secretary and trustee, Claire is able to offer her clients a unique blend of skills and experience.
Claire brings to her coaching an incisive intelligence and sharp insight which enable her to rapidly identify the real issues at play. She quickly builds rapport with her clients and skilfully balances the right degree of challenge, empathy and support. Favouring a strengths-based approach, Claire enables her clients to capitalise on their strengths, maximise their effectiveness and address the beliefs and behaviours that impede their performance and personal well-being.
Claire’s experience working for and advising leading law firms and FTSE 100 and 250 companies means she is no stranger to boardroom conflict, complex boardroom dynamics and the particular needs and dynamics of professional services firms. She has experienced the power of excellent leadership and witnessed the sometimes devastating effects of sub-optimal leadership. These experiences, combined with her passion for people, performance, psychology and learning - she undertook undergraduate, masters and PhD study at the University of Cambridge during her career ‘break’ - make executive coaching the natural arena for Claire to deploy her talents.
